I know in Barcelona there is ApparkB, allowing users to park in blue and green parking zones, find the nearest parking meter or renewing tickets.

On the other hand Madrid and Girona offer PayPark, a similar system whose profits go for assisting the disabled.

I heard that Barcelona has also implemented a sensor system that guides them to available parking spaces. The sensors, embedded in the asphalt, can sense whether or not a vehicle is parked in a given location.
